Superfreak

Writing in the battered notepad was not going particularly well, considering the distractingly loud music emanating from his sister's room. Theo ran his hands over his tired eyes and through his hair, ruffling it even further as he fought to keep his temper under control. The last thing he needed was to get into a fight with Rhea, knowing that he'd have too much fun arguing with her over pointless things and procrastinating from the task at hand. Sighing, Theo picked up the biro again and continued scrawling, humming along.

His pen jotted to a halt as he recognised the pattern of songs. Wait a second. That CD. That sounded familiar. Theo frowned, leaning back in his chair. "Superfreak," he muttered quietly, crossing his fingers as he waited for the next track.

He predicted correctly. The compilation CD from that muggle boy he'd seen in fifth year. Theo had been under the impression he'd lost that CD into the depths of his room, but it now seemed otherwise.

Standing up, he smirked a little, tossing the pad of paper and pen onto the table and reaching the door before marching down the hallway. He didn't even bother to knock, merely swung the door wide and hollering "RHEA!" Theo then tilted his head to the side. "Interesting music you've got there. What great taste you have."

Rhea ran her hands through her hair, propping the legs on her desk and leaned back in her chair.
She closed her eyes and threw her head back, listening to the loud music and falling deep into her thoughts; She dreamt about a new broom - not to use of course, just to own - covered in diamonds and then a new dress and maybe three new pair of shoes.

But before she could dream about more new stuff she longed for, her day-dreaming was interrupted when her door to her bedroom was swung open, and a familiar voice filled the room, over the music.

Annoyed already the brunette, turned around and pulled her feet from the table and onto the floor. "Yes, my music is nice." she said, standing up as her eyes darted at the empty CD case. She remembered what CD it was that she was playing, and who it really belonged too, but there was no way she was giving it back. "Be gone," she said, reaching out to try and slam the door shut again (and in her brother's face).

Theo wedged his foot in the door as she tried to shut it, and pushed back against her. "Yeah, funny that. A girl like you, well, you should have shit taste in music. Plastic bands. Plus, I never knew you had a taste for muggle music."

He rapped his knuckles on the door. "I'll count to three."

Rhea pushed again, but Theo's foot was already in between the door and frame. "Out," she whined, pushing again. "It's my room. Get out."

She stopped for a moment, scowling. "My taste is not shit." she said, narrowing her eyes and giving the door another push. "I will break your foot. Get out!"

Her eyes drifted to the case on the desk again, and then at her brother. "How about you count outside and when you reach three, jump out a window?"

Theo smiled sarcastically. "That'll be difficult, poppet, if I'm already outside." He pressed his face against the wood and stared in. "Seriously, Rhea, don't make me blow the door off. I don't want to have to see your face any more than usual."

He lifted up his hand. "One," he said, dropping a finger. "Two."

Rhea grimaced, pushing on the door again. "Your foot is in my room! So get your foot out of my room and your face out of my face, before I strike you!"

She shrieked, growing more frustrated with the second "AND WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?" Rhea stepped away from the door, putting her hands on her hips. "When you reach three?" her voice calmed down and a smirk formed on her lips. "Throw a fire whiskey bottle at me?"

There was no way she was giving up.

"Oh, look, an alcoholic jab, very original," Theseus said, a grin as he held the third finger menacingly. "What is it with you lot and insisting I'm going to die? If they knew what you drank, you wouldn't be Daddy's little girl any more. In fact, if he saw what you got up to..." He winked. "Shall we trade?"

He pushed the door harder. "Give me my CD back, Barbie." He then laughed. "Strike me, Centurian! Oh, Rheelee, what would I do without you for entertainment?"

Rhea stomped her foot to the floor; when around Theo she couldn't hide her childishness and emotions, at all. "I dont drink!" lie number one. "I am a nice girl," lie number two. "Like Dad would believe you anyway."

She then pouted. "I could hit you, if I wanted." she said, sighing and sent her brother a glare. "The CD is mine! Deal with it, and go bother someone else! Athena or something, bother the new-born baby for all I care."

"I like Baby. Baby understands me," Theo replied, smirk growing into a grin as the conversation continued. "Go on then. Hit me. So long as you give me the bloody CD back. You are such a bitch, you know that?"

He was getting slowly irritated by the door, and sighed. "Well, this isn't working." He stepped away from the door and turned away, before lining his wand with the hinges. "Diffindo," he said, severing the metal and causing the door to fall. Seeing his sister again, he smiled, and dropped the third finger. "Three," he said in a sing-song voice, before pushing through into the room.

Rhea was this close (this close!) to losing her temper (or what was left of it anyway), the girl narrowed her eyes and stared at her brother. "If you call me Reelee, one more time Theo, I will ruin you - and yes, I know I'm a bitch, but no, my CD."

She was about to throw some well picked curse words at her brother, when he pulled up his wand and before she could even progress what was going to happen, her door was on the floor before her.

The girl's jaw dropped, and for a moment she stared (quite like a goldfish) at her brother, before she started screaming. "THESEUS CAPULET, I WILL MURDER YOU!" the brunette shrieked, her eyes darting around the room as she looked for her own wand, a murderous look on her face. After a moment she spotted her wand, on the desk and with three fast movements, she walked towards the desk, grabbed her wand and pointed it towards her brother.

Theo cackled at her reaction as she darted around for her wand, leaping over to the CD player and getting ready to eject it, keeping his wand trained on her. "Ah, precious, I've missed you so much," he told the CD, glancing briefly at his reflection in it.

"'To Theo, Happy Belated Valentine's, love question mark'," Theo read from the front. "Yes, this is definitely yours, Rhea. How can I have been mistaken?" He stared at the broken door and grinned. "You might want to get that fixed before the parents see."

Her anger was pretty obvious, she knew that, her face had the habit of going very very bright red when she was angry. And she was, very angry.

She held her hand out for the CD again "If you don't mind I'm keeping that." she said, her voice dripping with venom. "It's in my room, therefor its mine, no matter what it says on that stupid front."

She looked at the door, on the floor again and her eyebrows narrowed further. "Fix that. Now."

Theo was having far too much fun with this. "'Fix that now please', I believe you mean. Manners get you everywhere Rhea. Which might explain why you've got nowhere." He hummed a little, and high fived her outstretched hand.

"Seriously, what are you going to do about that door, Rheelee?" he asked, biting on his lip. "I mean, Mum and Dad won't be happy."
