"It is too quiet," Lena muttered, mostly to herself. Her bow was firmly surrounded by her fingers, ready to make a move. It was hand crafted, passed down to her by Patricia, and it had never been used before. The arrows were sharp to the point that it could caress human flesh as gently as it could, and still cause minor damage.

The day was sweltering, but it was a perfect day to go hunting for a couple of birds that could be roasted and eaten - or so Patricia ha said; she was the hunting expert out of the family. That was why Lena had decided to visit the Hayes House - which was linked to the house Alex and Patricia lived in - and went out hunting. She had decided to go alone, or so she thought.

The blonde Uchitel looked up at the sky and shook her head. Yes, it was too quiet, but she didn't know what was keeping the peace. She held her breath, continuing to wait.

"Why do you look to the sky?"

Tovia was suddenly next to the girl, eyes on the sky as well. There was nothing to be seen in the crushing blueness that the angel could pick up. The forest had fallen silent since his arrival, something Tovia blamed on his heavenly stature.

Unaware that his sudden appearance next to the girl may have caused alarm, he stepped closer to examine the bow. Despite the heat, he wore long sleeves, white button down and long pants, seemingly unaffected by the weather. From his brief time on earth, Tovia already knew any from of his seemed different- not mortal.

The angel enjoyed the confusion that brought.

"You hunt the creatures here?" he asked, "Do they not come to you as they do to me?"

It wasn't Lena's particular fault that she jumped when she heard a voice speak to her. In instinct, Lena grabbed her bow and held it up, only to see that it was a man speaking. Usually, she would run away and get her dagger out and try to stab him, but this was a forest and she had come here specifically to relax. There was no need for such drastic measure.

"The sky holds answers we'll never find," cited the blonde, looking back up at the sky to hide her rapidly beating heart and the beads of sweat forming ever the quicker on her face, "they also give me this sort of strange satisfaction that I get from nothing else that is worldly. I find hard to explain, what the sky means to me..."

The Uchitel paused, seeing Enya's half-formed face in the clouds. The soothing effect that had on her was apparent. At first, she was a little frightened, but she found it in her heart to smile. Careful, child, mouthed the reflection, you shan't be so nervous.

Of course, Lena did nothing but chant her instruction mentally in her head as the reflection disappeared from view, and the Uchitel, out of politeness, turned to face the man again.

"I don't hunt for sport or for survival, but yes, I hunt," Lena replied, choosing her words carefully, "they do not. I'm afraid I am not as fleet on foot as I thought I am."

Tovia looked at the girl, confused by her reaction. The sky was only blue and clouds- how could it hold any answers? Was she speaking in a Heavenly sense? The young girl must be. The angel shook his head solemnly, unsure of whether to tell the girl the truth.

"You cannot see Heaven from Earth," he explained as he messed with the collar of his shirt. He'd much rather go without it, but... that wasn't quite an opinion. "You cannot see anything from Earth, really."

His eyes stayed at the sky for a long moment before returning to the ground. There were so many things to see on this planet- cats, dogs, birds, trees, grindylows and little things humans barely noticed. Why would he bother with the sky?

"You are old fashioned," he said, voice soft and eyes cheerfully blue, "I can help you, if you wish for it." The angel paused, "But, I cannot kill,"

"The sky is what you make of it," Lena mused, tucking stray locks of hair behind her ears, "if you think it is merely sky and clouds, so be it. I like to this otherwise."

And she did. She had always thought that the sky was the foot of heaven, a sort of barrier between Heaven and the Earth. A gate to keep souls from escaping. Of course, it wasn't a completely effective barrier; if it was, why would ghosts freely roam the earth?

The Uchitel stole a brief glance at her boots and saw one of the laces were undone, and leaned down to fix that, "Your sight is defined by your will, and that is something I learned the hard way." She straightened her back once her laces were done - double knotted, she made sure of that. "If you choose to see the sky as plain, then it shall be plain. If you choose to see the sky as something teeming with wonder, then it shall."

Scoffing, the Finnish teenager replied, "Me? Old fashioned? That's a rather strange word to describe me with." She then shrugged her shoulders at the man, barely feeling nervous, "I don't mind some help." She firmly nodded, "Ah, I understand. If I were in your position I wouldn't want to have innocent blood on my hands either, though it's not my intention to kill these animals; they're too beautiful. They're just live target practice, for me."

Tovia blinked at the sky, trying to comprehend the world Lena could see. Heaven was so distant- physically and mentally. But, if the tiny mortal could see it... maybe the celestial being himself could contact the life he used to live.

"Can Heaven hear me?" he inquired, "Do you think they listen to us?"

He gazed at her again before grabbing a single arrow by the point. He closed his hand around the point, watching the blood seep out between his fingers. "I do not think animals like this,"
