    Crash Empty Crash

Post by Ashleen Beneparte Wed Sep 05, 2012 10:44 pm

The streets were full with people. That was part of the reason she liked them of late. Even with Heaven weaving the way infront of her, keeping a safe gap between herself and the possibly touch of a stranger, she could feel lost, even safe amongst them.

It was odd, what made her feel safe now adays; it was odd - even more so to the girl - that she felt the need to find saftey. Ashleen had never been one to truely attempt to keep that, reckless her middle name. Due to not thinking, and in some causes just the thrill of the danger, she often threw aside the comfort of safety for other purposes.

But now, out of seemingly know where, she was suddenly striving to find it in anyway possible, taking comfort in any action, any location that gave her some sembilence of that feeling.

So it came as quite a shock to her system - happily bumbling along, lost in the crowd, safein the crowd - when out of the corner of her eye she thoguht she saw a face. Not just any face, but one of their faces. Her attackers, faces that had haunted her dreams for months, even now on occation they still floated past.

It was impossible of course, for all of the men that had been there that night were dead, killed the instant her father and the others had shown up. But, her mind, so prone - even now - to panic when it came to that, still attempting to heal, even when she went around as if she were fine, didn't think that logic through. It merely regestered one thing.

    It wasn't safe.

Not looking where she was going. The young girl tore her way out of the crowd, away from all the people - anyone that could get her - and straight into the on-coming traffic.
