She followed him in the darkness. Flat combat boots quietly following the vampire she was ordered to kill. Her weapons placed around her body, but still being hidden. Her back hitting the cold stone wall, the jumpsuit fitting into body perfectly, a leather jacket protecting her from the cold night.

Lila knew that it was dangerous for her to come alone in such a mission considering when she did her research, Calavier's profile was pretty impressive.

She could have asked Mav or Stark or Ric but right now, she wanted time away from them. And when she was contracted for this job, Lila was more than eager to start.

She concentrated on feeling the vampire's presence.

He was sure he was alone. At least, he was when he apparated to the one place he was sure he was safe. Juse about any forest seemed safe to the vampire, but sometimes they were full of unexpected things. Calavier walked, hands in his pockets, gripping his wand in one pocket and his extendable sword in his other.

His Empathic abilities picked something up, well, someone was more like it. As he walked, his red eyes scanned the land in front of him, checking for any sign of the human following, or waiting for him.

When he was certain that the person was not in front of him, a few steps ahead, he sped up and turned to his left and then stopped, waiting for whoever was foolish enough to stalk him. He was the stalker, he was the predator, not the prey, and now he was going to show it.

Briefly sticking his head around the corner, he saw a young woman looking around for him. Look at that one, Cal. Imagine what her blood must taste like. the voice said to him. Licking his lips at the thought, Cal turned back and waited.

She felt him, she felt his eyes on her for a split second, a slight smirking placed on her lips as she sped walked the opposite way. Her plan was simple: make him follow her, corner him and finish the job. Lila also had some other plans, just in case the first one didn't work out.

Stopping in front of the abandoned castle entrance, she tied her hair up into a pony tail, her head looking back and scanning the premises. Once not seeing the vampire, she turned back and walked into the building.

Lila left the door open on purpose, her smirk still on her face as she headed down the hallway. She was sure the vampire could hear her when the old fallen leaves from the previous fall where still on the floor and she stepped on them with a satisfactory crunch. She made no sign in hiding where she was now.

She was a female, and most females where always looked down upon when it came to hunters. They were usually discriminated to being dumb and not being able to do their jobs. But Lil was raised with the boys, some of the best hunters in the world, and was currently playing the dumb woman who can't hide properly.

Stopping at a room with a desk and a chair, she sat on the table and grabbed her blade that had been submerged in holy water earlier.

Lila smirked as she ran the cool sharp edge of the blade on wrist, enough pressure for some blood to appear.

And now, she waited for him to show up.

He watched as she walked right past him, his slowly turning black, eyes filled with slight confusion as she continued on towards the castle's entrance. As she passed him, he attempted to sense what she was feeling, but the woman had her emotions in complete control, so it was difficult for Calavier to try and narrow down what it was she felt so that he could control her.

Having felt no other option but to follow her, he slid out from his hiding place and followed her inside the large, darkened castle. He knew he could have turned and left, but why, why on earth would he ever let a meal like this go.

Never in his hundreds of years, had he let his prey out of his sight. Even when he did, when it involved other forms of creatures, he would wait years upon years before finding it again and then snatching it up. The longest run he had had with a creature, he knew was extinct now, was over one hundred and twenty years. What a game that was.

He had hunted all over the world, trying to catch it's familiar "scent" and feelings. Finally one day, he had found it, minding it's own business, not paying any mind to it's surroundings, that was when Calavier had snagged it.

It had been years since a prey like that had come along, and everything he went for was simple and easy, even though he loved a challenge.

The castle was dark, darker than outside in the forest, but Calavier had no difficulty seeing through it. Stopping just inside, he lifted his head and took a long sniff of the air surrounding him. An evil, masochistic grin came across his face at the smell of blood coming from only a short way away from where he was.

Turning towards the smell, Calavier walked on through the castle, following his nose as he searched for the woman whose blood was spilling. Only moments later, he turned into some sort of room, and he saw her, standing there, a blade dripping with water as well as her own blood.

He stopped in his tracks, and just stared at the girl, his now completely black eyes filled with a ravenous hunger for her blood.

She looked at the blood that fell from the slit of her wrist with slight interest. The tall brunette was still focused on her task, everything in check and all going as planned, she grabbed a clean rag and cleaned it with a smirk once she felt the presence.

"Honestly thought you'd be a little faster in finding me," Lila spoke, her eyes still trained on the cut as the blood began to swell up again. So perhaps she had cut herself a it deeper than she thought. She had worked with that before.

Looking up to the vampire, unfazed, she twirled the blade between her fingers with a small smirk.

"This is how it's going to work," she began as she stood from the desk, her eyes traveling the man's body from head to toe. "By the end of the night, one's going to make it out alive and that's most probably going to be me."

He was a bit attractive, Lila thought, well, a lot more attractive than the vampires she's had to deal with before. Scolding herself on the mere thought of it.

"Does that sound good to you?" She said nonchalantly, clearly aware of the man's eye change. Her bright blue eyes didn't seem affected, much like her stance and her attitude towards the situation.

Cal let out a low, deep and rumbling chuckle at the girl's words. "Sometimes I like to play games." he said as a smirk came across his face. His eyes continued to switch between looking at the wound on her wrist and the girl's face. Her rather pretty face. Something he would not have said about most women, however, clearly this girl was not most women.

Rolling his eyes, finding this challenge fairly simple, he nodded to the girl standing before him. He wasn't sure how this was going to go down, he hadn't had a fight with a hunter for years. The last time was in some place in Russia, where he was hunted down by their finest hunters, but he had managed to take most of them out. The others had run screaming like little girls.

Hands still in his pockets, wrapped around his sword and his wand, he slowly moved into a battle stance awaiting to see what she would do first. With his speed and strength on his side, he was sure this fight would not last very long.

((OOC: So, I am not great at starting fight scenes, so I hope you don't mind your charrie making the first move Razz ))

“Seems we’ve got one thing in interest,” she mused out loud, eyes down on the blade as she inspected it, her plump lips pursed in a curios fashion, “And luckily for you, I actually feel like playing tonight. You won’t be dying so quickly.”

Placing her dagger back on a holster, in a quick second, her both her Sais were out and aimed the sai next to his right ear. She purposefully missed it though, her strength able to pierce the stone wall and lodged it there. Lil’s eyes stayed sharp, ready for any moment where the vampire will strike. She realized his hands gripped things in his pockets.

Well, shit, she thought, I should've brought my wand.

    “Are you ready?” Lil smirked.

Calavier grinned, widely, evilly as the dagger she threw narrowly missed his ear. Rolling his shoulders back and cracking his neck, he nodded to the woman in front of him. "Hell yeah." he said grinning, his fangs clearly shown in the moonlight.

Lila took the first step, staring directly into his eyes as Cal stared back. She pulled another dagger and pointed it at him, aiming for something that would cause him pain. Cal eyed the silver weapon, and raised his eyebrows. "Really?" he questioned, a hint of laughter in his tone.

Growling slightly, Lila threw it, aiming for his heart. She nearly hit him, but Cal dodged to the side, the dagger just nicking his shoulder. Cal glared at the woman and pulled his extendable sword from his pocket and twirled it in his hands, above his head, before lunging towards her.

The hunter pulled another dagger and easily blocked his strike. Though Cal had the upperhand, Lila herself, being well trained was fast enough and decently strong enough to block his seemingly full forced blows. "You know I'm going easy on you, right?" the vampire questioned, his voice a little seductive.

Ignoring his retorical question Lila ducked out of the way of his swing and dove a few feet away, and threw her dagger, this time with more force. Cal groaned at the impact of the dagger hitting him, plunging into his right side. Pulling out the poisoned blade, Cal tossed it to the ground with a clatter before running to the hunter and swining his sword.

He was lucky this time, managing to get a nice clean, yet painful wound. Cal grinned down at the girl, and watched as she faltered slightly. The blood soaked into her trousers, and Calavier could feel the excitement and blood lust course through him like a burning flame.

"Oh this is getting fun." he purred as Lila stood and faced him. The two continued their fighting dance, both managing to hit one another many times, but neither faltered for a second.

Cal continued to fight, but couldn't ignore the burning inside of him, that he knew wasn't from the thirst.
