Grey stones, Ireland
Early Summer
Casey fiddled nervously with the hem of her light blue skirt, picking at the white embroidery anxiously. She was sitting on the old couch in her living room, waiting for James to arrive. Her parents were home, but politely giving the living room a wide berth so James wouldn't pop out of the fireplace into a room full of strangers. She glanced around their shabby little house, suddenly embarrassed at their obvious lack of money, despite the fact that both of her parents worked. She had no idea how Gringott's could pay so little or how her mother's shop could get such a small profit, but there was neve enough money and never had been. She stood up sharply as the fireplace flames flared green.
