Apparently, the shattering to her right knee was still going to require crutches, even after fixing the main damage to the bone. Sighing, Faith hobbled along, her black hair hanging down in her eyes and her relatively pale skin standing out against the moonlight.

She'd heard that it was a good place to think here. And having always had a pretty much 'screw it' attitude to everything her entire life (or as far back as she could remember), the girl had left her house at around 2pm. Her mother would be expecting her back home at any given moment.

    Oh well.

Faith was thinking. And her mother always encouraged thinking, because it generally meant that she was doing something productive. Reading off the names of the deceased, her face stayed emotionless. None of them meant anything to her at all. Things rarely did these days.

It was always calming to go visit her grandfather's grave when she wanted to get away from her siblings. Mags was giving her a hard time lately and Anais was only getting more and more irritated by the second. Once leaving the flowers on the tomb, she walked away. It was the brunette's grandfather who taught her to never pity people and to always look down on people who pitted themselves.

She smiled at the last good time she had spent time with her grandfather, she was fully aware of her memories when it involved him, which always lifted up her spirits when Mags gave her a hard time.

Anais noticed another figure in the catacombs, unsure if she should go up to talk to them.

She mentally shrugged and decided to anyways.

    "Hello," Anais greeted.

Faith laid her crutches on the floor as she sat down on a patch of grass, surrounded by the gravestones. She inhaled deeply, closing her eyes, and leaning back on her arms. Thankfully, they'd healed pretty well, and she didn't feel much pain when she put pressure on them.

Faith had felt enough pain to last her a lifetime. Stupid windows. Stupid music. Stupid diary.

Hearing the voice behind her, Faith opened one of her eyes, and tried to smile. She couldn't bring herself to smile properly; there really was no point in it. But it was a half smile. Which was good enough.

    "Hi."
