Faith Restored

Aireon walked on board the train. He had no family to say goodbye to. As he walked past compartment after compartment containing kids waving goodbye to their families, he slowly felt tears drain from his eyes. He realized the train was moving and rushed to find an empty compartment. He found one and shut the door. He cried hard. The memories soon came full force. The blood on the walls, the stench of burnt corpses and robes, and the dying screams of his friends.

He soon collapsed from the exhaustion. Then, he did something that he hadn't done since that night. He prayed. His faith in God was nearly shattered, but it slowly began to repair itself. Life was slowly looking up.

The train chuged along, as J. J. left her compartment and went in search for food, a trolly or dinning cart of some kind.
She past many carts filled with students, and for a moment she concedered going into one to ask an older student about food, but in the end she lost her nerve and didn't go through with it.
She was struggling to move slighty with moment of the train, when suddenly it took a a corner throwing her into a closed compartment door.
She gripped the wall hard, and sighed when she realized that she was still on her feet.
As the adreniline stared to wear of she realized something much worse.
She had clutched to door handle.
Slowly the door slide opened and with a shocked gasp, she fell through the door and into the compartment.
J. J. layed on the ground stunned for a moment, and then was realived that it appeared no one was in the compartment to see her.
Slowly she pulled herself up then stopped.
Her cheeks flushed. There was a boy sitting there.
Her eyes widened and her heart dropped in embarrassment, "Oops."

After a moment of sitting there stunned, J. J. realized that the boy either hadn't noticed her, or was tactfully ignoring her lack grace.
With a quick mental thank god J. J. scrambled to her feet and slipped quietly back out into the corridor.
Closing the door behind her carefully, she scanned where she was. It was back to her original mission, Food.
