Overall history: The Skydancer's descend from a long line of Midwestern American Purebloods that had originally immigrated to America from England. No one remembers what their last name was originally but the Native American tribes of the Midwest gave one of the early family members the name of Skydancer when he appeared to dance in the sky while magically levitating himself. The name stuck and has been passed down for generations. Basil was born in New York to rich parents and given anything he could ever want. He is used to only the finest of things life can offer and was educated at a premier young wizard's academy in New York City. After playing in a band for a few years after graduation he decided to move back to Europe where he wouldn't be easily recognized, especially after that infamous hotel incident where the stage caught fire due to some magical fireworks. He moved to a villa in France where he got a job bartending before accepting a position at Beauxbatons to teach music. Basil still works at the Golden Threstal every so often for extra income.

Recently coming into his previously unknown inheritance of Goblin King he rules his people with a firm but gentle hand. He met the love of his life and they became engaged. His fiance, Etta, is now expecting his twins and Basil is scared shitless because he doesn't know the first thing about babies.
