Adam had left the school to explore. He hadn't had much time his first two years since it was all brand new and he had to get the basics down. Then there was all that homework and meeting new people and most of his time was spent exploring the castle. He found new things everyday! And saw and heard things too which was always funny to jump out or start throwing wadded up parchment at couples. That was the past two years of course.

Out of the palace he had gone to the crepes place and was munching on his third chocolate one when he spotted the cafe/pub. He always had room for actual food! And it smelled really really good. And having the crepes made him thirsty. Going inside he smiled seeing the menu board.

Going to the counter he quickly ordered then took his tray and sat in a seat across from a girl who looked about his sister's age. Giving her and easy grin he rubbed his hands together as he breathed in the scent of his soupe a l'Oignon. "I bet you taste as wonderful as you smell," he told his soup.

Looking up sharply from her dinner of well done steak, whipped potatoes, and steamed veggies Yvette glared at the boy. "What did you just say, boy," she asked the hair on the back of her neck bristling. If he was talking to her then he had another thing coming to him. The waiters were all good friends of hers and they'd look the other way if she had to make a scene to teach the kid a lesson.

"I do hope for your sake you were not addressing me with that sentence," the cowgirl almost growled. She brushed a stray pea from her dark blue shirt and then tapped the end of her fork against her empty coffee mug, signalling her need for a refill. A waiter came over with a fresh carafe full and filled the ceramic mug before stepping away again.

Adam looked up just as he was about to pick up his spoon and dip it into his soup. Rethinking what he'd said that could be taken offensively, he laughed and tried to hide it behind his hands as the waitress refilled the older girl's mug. Sticking out his tongue briefly because he didn't like coffee. Which was weird or so his sister told him, because he liked coffee flavored candy, just not the actual drink itself. He said she was the weird one for liking that stuff! It was horrid!

Shaking his head the laughter still on his face he replied, "Not unless my soupe a l'Oignon has decided to become a person and I think I'd have my head examined if that ever happened."

Taking a slurp of his soup he shut his eyes in bliss. "Now this is supposed to be how it's made! Nothing against you're...heartier meal."
