    No Air Empty No Air

Post by Faye Beneparte Fri Mar 30, 2012 4:33 pm

Faye, her six year old eyes wide with fright, tempting to hid behind her father, but knowing the man would not appriciate it, shuffled along behind him trying to hid any fear that would so disgust the man.

It was earlier morning, and she was still slightly groggy with sleep, but her father had said he wanted to show her something. Part of her did not trust the man, he had already attempt to get her to do so many things that weren't fun - they were scary, and sometime she got hurt.

But another part of her, a stronger part of her, just wanted her families - her father's approval. So like so many times, she followed the man to where ever they were going to go.

Aleksey had tried everything, but no matter what he did nothing seemed to help. He was now at wits end with her. If it turned out that he'd produced a squib he'd never live it down. "Faye, stop being a fool and come out." He said looking behind him to find his daughter.

He sighed losing patience with her and picked her up. "Make daddy proud." He said before throwing her to the centre off the pool. Only magic could save her now. He hadn't bothered to get her swimming lessons.

No Air Empty Re: No Air

Faye looked up at the order. Freezing in place for a moment before scurrying forward. It didn't really matter, though, whether she made the decision to come forward or not for it seemed her father got tired of waiting for her to come, for he picked her up.

She let out a half squeal that was between a giggle and scream of surprise. Brows furrowing in confusion, the small girl nodded her head, and was about to answer in her small, childish voice when she found herself suddenly flying through the air.

She let out a call of surprise, as she landed with a splash in the water, tacking a deep breath as soon as she hit the water - taking it into her lung, it burning as it closed off her airways.

Her small body began to sink right down to the bottom of the pool. She wanted to scream, to yell - cough, she wanted to breath, but there was nothing to do, nothing to help her.

She flailed around into the depth of the water, as her head began to feel funny light - almost like she was floating... only she wasn't was she? She was doing just the opposite.

    Faye Hansoff was drowning.

"Come on Faye!" He said through gritted teeth as he watched her drown. "Show me something, anything!" He demanded, but time was slowly ticking by and still no sign of her magic. She had to have it, she was not going to make him look a fool.

After a few minutes he knew he could wait no longer. "Go get her and dry her off." He growled to one of the house elfs stood just beside the door. He couldn't even bring himself to look at his daughter at the minute so he left. He left her behind with the elves not knowing or quite caring if she survived his cruel test.
