    Moodiness Empty Moodiness

Post by Kendera James Sat Mar 31, 2012 1:39 am

Kendera browsed the various shops of Fangor Alley, a decidedly discontent frown set on her features. School was dull as ever (minus Transfiguration class, which was simply difficult), and she had come up with nothing to breath the betrothal between herself and Roman.

The thirteen-year-old heaved a sigh. She was losing time again, too. That bothered her. It bothered her a lot, really. Kendera didn't like have periods of time she couldn't remember - it was too much like having no control over her life.

Stopping in front of a clothing shop, Kendera paused to stare moodily in through the window. Even the weekends were dull.

Samara growled softly to herself as she walked down Fangor Alley, lost. Not that she'd tell a soul that. She hated shopping but it was a reason to escape from the house so she wasn't complaining, any escape she saw as a God-sent. There were still to many family members that came and went with their eyes filled with scorn or pity for her. She was happy to be returning to school and away from that place.

She stopped midstep realising that with her quick pace she'd probably get herself lost even more. She looked around silently feeling more alone then ever. She shook her head mumbling to herself under her breath "No point on dwelling on the past or them" she mumbled

She turned slightly her emerald eyes catching the girl standing in front of the clothing store. She watched her for a minute with passive intrest.

Kendera tensed, gaze refocusing on the reflection in the glass, rather than the display behind it. She tossed her head, her hair, for once, remaining its natural shade of brown despite the flash of irritation. In fact, changes in hair and eye color in response to her mood were becoming less and less frequent for the metamorphmagus. Finally.

"It's rude to stare, you know," she stated loud enough for her voice to carry, tone sharp. Kendera turned to look over her shoulder. She thought she recognized the other girl; a classmate, at least. Perhaps from elsewhere, also. Kendera wasn't certain.

Samara sighed reaching up brushing a curl out of her face only to have it fall back into place. She flinched slightly at the girls voice. She seemed familar to her. She struggled to try to remember but came up with little. She wondered if it was probably from school, which seemed perfectly logical since she never spoke to anyone.

She moved stepping away from the movinv people trying to avoid being run over.

"I wasn't staring," She replied simply her voice just loud enough to carry

Kendera gave a skeptical huff. "Could have fooled me," she murmured. Chocolate brown eyes studied the other girl a moment more.

"Slushatel, aren't you?" Kendera queried, for lack of anything else to say. She wasn't particularly adept at chatting with people. "I've seen you in the common room. I think you're in my year, as well."

Samara gave a slight nod, in silent response. Talking with others wasn't exactly her strong point, she did better to just avoid others and stay and invisble as possible. Her Emerald green eyes looked up as she looked at the girl for a second deciding she was probably right about them being in the same year.

She took a deep breath, finding nother to say she remained silent.

Kendera raised a brow at her housemate's silence, before turning away again in disinterest. She certainly wasn't about to pry conversation from the other girl. Kendera had never been much of a conversationalist, herself. If the girl wanted to talk, she would talk, otherwise, Kendera had other things to think about.
