Personality: Jaelyn's personality is mostly just ugly- she's selfish, cold and often cynical. However, who she considers to be her allies, or at the very least the collection of people that she believes keeping close would result in an advantage, Jaelyn protects fiercely and her sense of loyalty is a strong one. Rarely, someone may catch sight of a flicker of genuine decency in her, which she will immediately mask. Jae plays around with the idea of herself as a philosopher, with a more cynical edge unlike most romantic, poetic ones.

Jaelyn's ability to excel academically from an early age has given her an ego that can sometimes get her into heated arguments, and once or twice a physical fight- most of which she won. Because of this, her confidence in her own ability has almost doubled from what it was naturally. Her ego often blinds her into thinking she can do things that she isn't able to do, and her pride prevents her from asking for help.

Overall history: Jaelyn's family have always hated each other, though her father favours her younger sister, Eliza and is the only one within his family that he will show a kind of cold affection towards- which is more than what Jaelyn could ever hope for. Although their passionate dislike for each other is strong, their basic beliefs are the same and the only common ground they all seem to share is their hatred for muggleborns. It is because of this, that Jaelyn's marriage was arranged at the age of six by her father in order to sustain pureblood families. She was engaged to a young boy, Loki Ryder, who is three years her senior. This marriage, however, was cancelled when her father was forced to flee the country with his family after he became caught up in illegal business and practice of the dark arts.

Having only met Loki once, Jaelyn was able to able to move on pretty quickly- though he crossed her mind occasionally afterwards. Soon, though, Jae was slowly starting to lose her mind- she was abused by her parents, raised in a spiteful environment and constantly compared to her little sister by her parents. Finding herself comparing her family's attitude to Loki's fairly relaxed one, she began to despise them for oppressing her and resorted to books. Half a year after her encounter with Loki, Jaelyn began to educate herself and labelled herself a child prodigy (according to her library resources). All tutors that were sent to her found themselves often outsmarted and eventually gave up. She became intolerant, cold and foul tempered during this period of her childhood, locked in a library- something that has stayed with her since.

Her parents sent her to St Mungo's in England at the age of 11 to be "fixed", after realising that no pureblood wizard would want to marry her with an attitude as feisty as hers. She escaped and traveled back to Russia in a matter of 5 days. This escapade enlightened to her the importance of survival skills and not just the exercise of the mind, but of the body, too.
