Ashleen slowly brock her hazy gaze up to his, swallowing as she let some of her scattered thoughts die away.

She nodded her head slowly at his words, only half listening as she curled into his embraces. She felt a lump in her throat and closed her eyes trying to fend it off, only to have to open them right away as images she did not wish to see flashed before her again.

Ash bit her lip, breathing in sharply through her nose and listened to Tre's humming, muttering the words softly to herself - if she just focused on that then maybe...

She barely even noticed when they had left the room.
