Overall history:

Emelie's entire family are muggles. She has a younger sister and they live with her grandmother, since both her parents died when she was very young. Her mother died in a battle with cancer, and her father grieving three months later. Upon their deaths, Emelie kicked out the 'n' in her name, taking her from Emeline to Emelie.

Emelie was born in Bordeux, but moved to her grandmother in Annecy when her parents died. She almost single handedly raised her younger sister, and at age ten her grandmother retired and they all moved to a smaller house.

Finding out she was a witch, gave Emelie a new life. She was happy, but when she found out her grandmother was dying, she would give anything just to go home an take care of her. She is terrified of what will happen if her grandmother does die.
