Lesson Four; Fifth Years Empty Lesson Four; Fifth Years

Simone Lucinda walked into the Enchantments class room taking a seat in a desk smack dab in the middle of the class room. This was one of his better classes, and he actually enjoyed it. Taking out his books he laid them in front of him side by side, making sure they were in alphabetical order and in a straight line. He had to be prepared for his favorite class, and unusually on time. Placing his hands in his lap he waited for the rest of the class to show along with the professor.

Juliet entered the classroom in her graceful manner she was surprized to see only one student but figured it must be because it was almost the end of the year, she smiled at the boy as she walked to the front of the classroom

"Welcome Mr Lucinda, would you be able to tell me what the Diffindo Charm does?" she asked in her soft voice

"Diffindo," He said pursuing his lips in thought, "that would be the charm which is also referred to as the Severing Charm. It is used to cut or sever objects." He said sure he was right though he could have easily confused Diffindo with Defodio the Gouging Charm. Looking around he relized he was the only one in the class, the only reason she had called upon him to answer the question.

Juliet nodded at the boy "Well done that is correct, it is a highly useful charm as for it can cut through most things provided you have mastered the spell quite well"

Juliet then pulled out her wand " To cast this spell you hold your wand firmly and then swipe diagonally and say the incantation Diffindo" Juleit then walked behind her desk and pulled out a piece of leather and laid it down in front of the boy and gave him a slight nod

" Ok Mr Lucinda, I would like you to attempt the charm on this piece of leather"

Simone picked up his wand which laid next to one of his many books. Moving the wand in a diagonal motion has she had showed him he recited the incantation, “Diffindo,” he said attempting to cut the piece of leather in half. Though the cut wasn’t perfect, and was a little off center and didn’t completely sever the fabric into two pieces. Laying his wand down he bowed his head “I am sorry Professor, I have Failed this time.” He whispered.

Juliet smiled softly at the boy "Oh no its alright, try again you almost had it" then Juliet placed another piece of leather in front of the boy

"Go on, I know you can do it, just really focus"

Lisette quietly opened the door to her Enchantments class, "Sorry I'm late Professo-" She stopped, looking around the room confused, "You're not... umm.... Who are you again?"
