Out of the two, Theran is simply more sensible. While Pepper will run off with whatever idea comes to mind, he'll think of the consequences to any action. He's quiet and such can be taken as shyness, but Theran simply prefers to listen than to talk.

Theran prefers not to rush into things and likes to be completely sure that he can do something before adding any other skills to it. For example, while Pepper was running around, he'd been mastering walking.

A minute and a half older than Pepper, you'd never know it from the way they acted. Throughout their very short lives, Theran was content to take a backseat as his twin steamrolled through everything. While she ran and fell, he was still focused on the art of walking.

Prefering goblins to humans, Theran grew up in The Underground as their future ruler, surrounded by family and goblins alike. Out of them all, he trusts his sister the most because they're twins and no matter what, it'll always be the two of them against the world.
