Punishment Time (Iva and Nova)

Despite Iva's cocky nature, she was a bit deterred by the giant forest. Shadows twisted and loomed in every corner, and any one of them could leap up and attack her. It wasn't that she was afraid, but, in her sleepy state, she couldn't defend herself if something.....

"I am ready for anything," She declared, her hands on her hips. Her eyes glittered with a strange passion. "Let us do this,"

Iva groaned. Complicated? This wasn't going to be fun. Shuffling after the professor, Iva looked around.

"This place sort of reminds me of a forest back in Russia," She said, "Me and my brothers would hunt back in there,"

Iva paused, and grinned, "We are not hunting, correct?"

Iva hopped over a log, the short twigs she called legs struggling to keep up. Darn her short stature. Why couldn't she have the tall, long bodies of her brothers, whom were all around six feet tall. She was just a tiny dot in the tangle of tall trees.

"What are we doing then?" She asked, "I am confused,"

She let her robe open in the wind to show light light dress, unaffected by the cold gust. This weather was nothing compared to Russia.

Iva stopped, appalled. "Leverage?!" She spat, "That sounds illegal! That cannot be correct!"

But, she continued anyway, the threat of another detention over her head.

"This sucks,"

"Great," She muttered, "Just great."

Iva adjusted her robe and nodded- Ready for anything.

Iva inhaled the strong scents of the forest, looking around for the cause. What was this place?

"Yes," she snapped, "Tell me please!"

"-And we are here to talk them out of it," Iva concluded, nodding. This shouldn't be a problem.

"That should be easy,"

Iva felt her wand in her pocket, so she slipped it into her sleeve. Then, she heard it. Horses galloping. She gulped and kept her jaw firm, ready.

"Let us do this,"

"Don't look at them directly in their eyes", she started explaining to her. "Speak only if asked and stay behind me. If they attack me, you will be free to go, so run and don't come back."

The galloping was becoming louder and louder.


(OOC- so of course, i'll have to play a few centaur charries to fit the story, i'll write with different colors while doing that)

Iva nodded, then pulled out her wand.

"Good plan," She agreed with a wicked grin, "Except for the fact I am a Slytherin,"

She stepped forward next the teacher, "And Slytherins do not run,"

Iva snorted at the word "filly", but stayed relatively quiet.

She looked at the lead centaur, making sure to avoid his eyes.

"You are not welcomed here, you filthy human mare!", the centaur said. "Our business has nothing to do with you."

He was about to approach them when a female centaur showed up.

"She's practically a filly herself", she pointed out. "And in that state, with a filly with her, there's hardly any chance she is going to attack us so, back up Briht!"

Nova was shocked when the female stood in front of her and Iva, and several other centaurs did the same.

"Enough of this nonsense", a big black centaur showed up. "Briht, I'm commanding you to go back to your post, or else..."

Iva looked at the centaurs, utterly confused.

"Look, we just want to talk about the forests burning down,"

Nova nodded after Iva gave a good point and then turned to the main centaur.

"Do you really think I would bring a child here, while I'm with child and attack you?", she asked him, not realizing something slipped out on her.

"It does not matter, this is not your part of the forest", the black centaur responded.

"Yes, but we just want to talk ab...", she said before being interrupted by Briht.

"Leave!"

She turned to the girl and looked at her. "Maybe we should leave now. We can always come back tomorrow."

Iva ignored the teacher and stepped forward.

"Not our part?" She asked, "Do you have the papers proving that?" She put her hands on her hips.

"And if you want to learn the secrets behind our wands, why are you burning the ingredients? Seems sort of pointless,"
