Lesson One - Fourth year

The young professor, Nova Doherty, was walking to the Quidditch Pitch. She was feeling rather well that day.

The brooms were already neatly moved to their positons, and all what was missing were her students and she waited patiently for them, hoping they wont come late or she'll have to punish them on her first work day and first day as head of Slytherin.

Karma walked onto the Quidditch Pitch with her Nimbus 2001 over one shoulder. She was pumped for the first flying lesson of the year. Her hope was that she'd be able to fly this lesson, seeing as they were fourth years and all.

Diane went to the pitch with her broom and a nervous expression. Flying was one of her worst subjects. And she hoped she won't screw up today.

She calmly walked towards the other student on the field and smiled at her mentor. "Good Day, Professor"

She smiled sincerely when she saw the two girls getting there so soon.

"Good day girls", her silence was broken, "welcome to flying lessons for fourth years. I hope everyone will get here as fast you did."

Nova looked around to see if anyone else is coming.

Kathy stepped onto the Quidditch pitch with excitement since it's been such while since she felt the wind pass through her cheeks like how it goes when she's flying.

Lucy walked on to the field quickly, grinning to herself. She was in a good mood today, and with her broom in her hand she was thrilled to fly again, it had been too long since she last had.
She smiled at the other students and the teacher and waited for the lesson to begin

"Hello girls", she started, "I hope the other will get here soon or else we will have to start without them."

She looked around again, wondering if kids are already ditching her lessons, even before they have started at all.

She then smiled.

"I think it's time to get to business." she said while smiling to them. "You all know the drill, cmon, get on your brooms, hurry, hurry, we don't have that much time, we are running late."

Then she got on her favorite broom and felt that perfect feeling she always got when she was flying.

"Follow my lead, we shall do a few circles for exercise."

Karma mounted her Nimbus 2001, a smile on her face. Distantly she realized this was the first time she'd smiled for something that wasn't deceiving someone, just the innocent love of flight. She realized it would be a great time to think things through, and promised herself she'd make her way down to the Pitch when she needed to think, instead of wandering through the forest as she usually did.

She did a few laps of the pitch before pulling her broom to a stop next to her professor, a radiant smile on her lips.
