Butterflies and Nervousness. [Caleb&Iris]

Iris drank her cup hastily as she waited for her date. Or is it the right term to say? Whatever. She was too nervous to wonder. She did feel humiliated that she replied late of the letter. What with all the Healing stuff and dressing at hand. Holidays do make you busy and hectic.

The girl settled herself straight, feeling uneasy of what will the outcome be. She hadn't experienced this sort of thing ever in her life. Can this be the moment? Just this summer she was hopeless, talking to October her Gryffindor friend whom she hasn't seen since the start of the term. And then at the train ride going Hogwarts. Was it coincidence or an authentic mere fate? She will never know unless she try.

Iris sighed and waited for Caleb to arrive. Was time too slow? Or is it because of her feeling?

Caleb walked in fixing his tie. When he saw Iris he started feeling nervous. Caleb looked at the rose in his hand and walked over to Iris. She looked beautiful to him. When he reached her Caleb started to speak.

"You look amazing, I'm speechless, this is for you" Caleb said handing her the rose that was in his hand.

Iris smiled warmly at Caleb and took the rose. It was pretty. Everything in here does feel like the first time. She was taken aback. Nothing she had ever expected in her entire life. That night was the best in her existence. Plenty of thanks for the sudden appearance of fate and the support of her friends. The undying support she had from them. She was too lucky.

"Thanks. Well, you're actually speaking so no need to say you're speechless." The girl replied with a soft laugh and blushed, "Kidding. So . . . what do you want to do?"

Caleb laughed at her joke and heard some slow music playing.

"Would you like to dance Iris" Caleb asked.
