A 2nd Year Prank

Romilda began walking up to the Highmasters office, she had a giant smile on her face she had to try hard to hold back from laughing.

She was almost to the door, she had the paper bag filled with dragon dung. Romilda reached the door and placed the bag right in front of the door, she then pulled out her wand " Incendio she whispered, the bag instaly caught alight and foul fumes began to fill the air

Romilda knocked on the door loudly " Oh Professor Rusnak" she called out she then bolted down the stairs, cackling all the way

Sacha was leaning casually against the wall at the base of the stairs, waiting patiently.

"You know," he began as the girl rounded the last curve of steps. "There are several things one ought to keep in mind when choosing to attempt a prank. One, you really shouldn't do so outside the most highly monitored door in the castle."

The man pushed off from the wall, stepping slowly towards the student. "Two, you should keep in mind just who it is you are pranking." His tone remained unchanged, conversational, but a notable chill entered the gray eyes. "Generally, the Highmaster would make for a bad target, particularly when he is the only person on the entire isle who is permitted to apparate.

"Three - well, you should never get caught, Miss Blaire, especially by your target." Sacha stood over the girl, piercing gaze focused on her intently.

"No matter," the man said, and it would have seemed cheerful had the look in his eyes not belied his tone, "quite fortuitously - for myself and the caretaker, that is, not for you, Miss Blaire - I have been looking for a volunteer to scrub all the bathrooms and other miscellaneous bits of the castle.

"You will start with the dragon dung mess outside my office, then, you should start with the third floor bathrooms and work your way down. There's a cleaning closet just down the hallway."

Sacha turned and started down the adjacent corridor to the one with the cleaning closet, pausing after a few steps.

"Oh," he added, as though it were truly an afterthought. "That will be without magic or any assistance, of course." He made a beckoning motion with one hand to summon her wand, catching it and putting it in a pocket.

The man turned to send her a grim smile over his shoulder. "And let's not forget that your guardians will be receiving a note regarding your behavior. Best get started. There are fifteen bathrooms in the castle. If you scrub two a day, it will take you little over a week, and then you can get started on the less mundane projects."

Highmaster Rusnak was waiting for her at the end of the staircase, Romilda felt a pulse of cold blood run through her. The Highmaster informed her she would be cleanning toilets and other general cleanning in the classroom, he then took her wand

Romilda gave a small groan as she walked towards the cleanning supply cupboard, she had never cleanned by muggle means, Romilda then thought of what her mother would say she going to make me live with Aunt Meloseea, or pull me out of Durmstrang and get a job as a barmaid Romilda thought to herself

She pulled the cleaning products up the stairs and cleaned the dragon dung, as Romilda was coming back down trying to balance the mops broom, bin and cleaning products she tripped and fell down the last 12 steps the Pino Fresh bursting open and pour all over her body and hair.

Romilda then stood up, and dragged the cleaning supplies towards the girls bathroom in the South Tower
