Andre was curious, and of course, curiosity drove him here. Personally, he now understood why this building wasn't popular.

It was very dull.

He sighed, and kicked up some sand. He should really leave. It was too boring.

Nolan sat in the stands of the arena, enjoying one of the first days off he'd had in weeks. Of course, it wasn't really a day off, just a day where he had nothing to do, but he felt like being an optimist.

Funny how Azorat was such a big city and there was still nothing to do... He gazed across the large space and imagined great battles that might have taken place here. His mind created images of valiant gladiators whose blood flooded the steps, and a merciless crowd cheering so loudly it drowned out screams of the dying heroes.

And people thought he was crazy...

Coming back from his twisted daydream, Nolan noticed a boy standing not too far away from him, appearing bored out of his mind, "This place is fascinating, isn't it?" he said, getting up and walking over to him.

He turned around shocked, and saw a man walked towards him. He wrinkled his nose. "Not at all. I see nothing special about it." He replied, continuing to kick up some sand.

Nolan looked up at the sky, inspecting the clouds, "Well, just as an example, that stuff you're kicking up.... it isn't just sand," he picked up a handfull shifting it around in his finger.

"This," he said, pointing to a small purple speck in the sand, "Is a solidified potion dispersed in the ground to make soldiers more powerful and alert. They worked a little bit like magical steroids. Their effects, of course, have worn off by now."

He dropped the sand, brushing his hands on each other to get the rest off of his hands, "The people managing the arena while it was still functioning also had a strange habit of grinding the bones of the dead competitors and dispersing them throughout the sand," he smirked, "But that's just a legend. It's probably not true."

He raised an eyebrow. Was this guy a geek or something?

"Hmm.... how do you know this anyway? Did you research it up or something?" He asked, though he couldn't really care less.

"Crushed bones, eh? Makes me wanna see if it is really true or not. Just to make it a fact, not a legend." If it was one thing he didn't like, was legends.
