In the Storm (Storm E.!)

Stormy held the warm fudge in her hand. Though it was the summer, it was wet and somewhat cold outside. Not exactly winter cold, but cold enough that you could notice the drop from the 70-80 degree weather they'd been getting. Breathing in the warm chocolate, Storm broke off a piece of the lovely peanut butter chocolate fudge and put it in her mouth, not chewing it but letting her tongue slowly absorb its flavor. She smiled a little, very happy for her chocolate-that and the fact that her father's new apartment was here in Hogsmeade.

Storm was happy. Ish. She liked Honeydukes very much, but her brother had ruined her day that morning. She was glad to get out, at least. She decided to go for choclate, just that day.

Storm saw a blonde girl standing alone, and decided to talk to her.

"Hello," she said softly, as she approached. "Do you like chocolate, too?"

Stormy's grey eyes flashed up at the new girl. She brushed the blonde hair out of her field of vision, then responded in her usual soft tone, "Hello. Yeah, I do," she smiled sheepishly, a small grin. "You want a bit? It'll melt on my way home, and it's too much for me to finish," Stormy held out the fudge. "It's peanut butter." It truly wasn't like Stormy to be friendly, but since the blue hand incident with the Slytherin, she decided that perhaps she should make an effort to be kinder-or, moreover, talk- to people. Gain some allies, maybe some friends.
