Personality: Sophia is, by and large, a gentle soul. She is patient and has always had a mothering side, even before she had a child of her own. Sensitive to others as part of her Gift, Sophia prefers the presence of one or two people to that of large crowds.

Despite her inherent kindness, Soph is not without a temper, nor is she one to remain silent in the face of confrontation. If she has something to say to you, she will say it. Often suffering from Dreams or nightmares of that which she has Seen, there are times when she relies on the care and support of her husband.

Unsuspected by many, Sophia has a mischievous streak and a rather witty sense of humor.

Overall history: Sophia was born to a pureblood witch and a muggleborn wizard. She has lived in Scotland her whole life, except for a few years during which she traveled to various places. Though, not overtly shy, she is more introverted than not.

Her Sight began to make itself known at the age of ten and it is primarily due to this that she does not like crowds. She is also a 'sensitive', allowing her to receive 'projections' from other people - plans for the near-future, or defining moments/thoughts - unless she shields her mind against it. She is a natural Occlumens, though, she never mastered Legilimency.

Sophia frequently suffers from nightmares of that which she has Seen, and has been on a few occasions found wandering about the school in the dead of night in thrall of a Dream. One of her greatest fears is that some of what she has Seen will come to pass. When she was 27, Sophia spoke a Prophecy of two boys and a coming war. At the time, it seemed this would be war between muggles and wizards, but as the feud between magicals and mundanes has since subsided, it is uncertain whether the Prophecy will prove True or False.

She first met Asric when she interviewed for the Divination position at Hogwarts. There was an instant attraction, though neither made a move for some time. They finally did make their feelings known and started living in the same house. The conception and birth of their first born was unplanned, though, they got married a few months later.
