It is no surprise that Corin's motto is that science is key. His whole life depends on the existence of science and logic, and it is the backbone of his existence. Anything that isn't logical is a big no-no to him. He likes to consider himself Einstein, and if something doesn't sound right to him, it is automatically wrong.

However, like any teenage boy, Corin has his exceptions. He flirts a little, though he was never much cop at it and it's not like he wants to be anyway though admits it would be nice to have a girlfriend. He likes sports, and often when the pressure of school gets to him that is what he does.

Overall history:
Corin Gorlois Rousseau was the second child of Pierre and Dominique Rousseau. Being born a whole seven years younger than his sister, it was a surprise when it turned out they could get along well with each other. They were spoiled as children, and because of this he grew up with everything he wanted.

When he was two, his younger brother Julian was born. At first, he took a real liking to him. But then he discovered science at the age of three through a 'Did You Know?' book his parents gave him one day, he began to be more logical than he was. Already he was questioning the things his parents tell him about the world, and he conducted his own experiments and his own investigation.

When Corin went to school, it was clear he was above everyone. He excelled in every class and he knew everything about everything. He was moved up a year, where he still performed well. Meanwhile, however, his younger brother Julian was doing unexpected things such as moving things around that he didn't touch. That was when his relationship with his brother started to strain.

Corin was eleven when Julian nearly burned down his piano instructor's piano, nearly killing him. It was this that finally broke Julian and Corin's once close relationship, and once Julian was sent away to that magical school, he had nothing to worry about. He got a scholarship to the best private school in Paris, and he has regretted nothing in his life ever since.
