Breaking the Habit

Karma sat in DADA, a sugar quill was firmly in her mouth, and it was currently occupying all her thoughts. She was sooo hungry! She'd have to have some of Ty's Solution soon, or she'd break and pounce on the nearest bloodbag.

Or firstie.

She twirled the quill in her fingers, soaking in the sugar. He hunger was momentarally distracted, and she grinned around the treat, sucking it almost fully into her mouth before letting it loose, sucking still.

"Hey half fang." He greeted as he entered the classroom. "Rumor has it Chaos is taking over this class." He dropped his bag down to the floor and then followed suit into his seat with a sigh.

"When is this day going to end?" He moaned. "I need sunlight!" He'd not had enough sunlight in the past few days and now he was feeling it. He felt more human than he ever had.

Karma shrugged a shoulder in greeting, not able to take the sugar quill out of her mouth long enough to form a sentence. Her eyes wandered to the vein in his neck, before they snapped away, staying forward.

"Hey." She murmured around the treat, her eyes staying decidedly away from him. "Know the feeling." She grumbled. She was starved, and his heartbeat was sounding louder by the second, whether she could digest his blood or not. She started contemplating the end of the lesson, the amount of time it would take to run to the girls bathroom... but it wouldn't do to miss the Headmaster's class. Frowning slightly, her eyes went to the door.

He looked at her and figured out what it was she was thinking. "Don't even think about it. This blood is off limits. If you thought your blood was addicting you aint seen nothing yet." He said and as if to prove it he fastened the zip of his leather jacket futher.

"You run out of blood bags of something?"

Karma clenched her jaw, her eyes going forward again. "I wasn't thinking about that." She grumbled, his heartbeat loud in her ears. It was a miracle she could hear him speaking above it, it was the loudest thing in the room.

"What blood bags?" she muttered. "Never had any to begin with."
