Staying for the summer

Collin could not believe he was crying again when was this ever going to stop. He was glad that he at least had Kass, someone he could cry to and would never judge him for crying.

"He wasn't suppose to let anything happen to him either." Collin was still crying in Kass's lap as she ran her fingers through his hair.

"When is the pain ever going to end?"

Kass hated it when Collin would cry. Because that would make her sad. But she knew that she had to be strong for him. Because he need her right now.

“ I promise I will never let anything happen to me.” She was still running his fingers through his hair. She was hoping that this was calming him down.

“ Yes the pain will go away soon.”

She then smiled as she sang a song that her mother would sing to her when she was sad.
