New Days

Miles enjoyed his trip to Russia but was glad to be back home, he was espically glad to see his boyfriend Dani, that term seemed so weird Miles couldn't imagine someone liked him enough to actually date him

They arranged to meet a a quiet place at the Enchanted lake, Miles set out all the picnic stuff, as he looked out at the water he couldnt resist the urge to swim, he figured being 10 minutes early he had time for a quick dip before Dani arrived

Miles then changed into his speedos and dived into the water splashing around, then diving under seeing how long he could how his breath

Figuring he was late, daniel hjad rushed through getting dressed. Still looking as impeccably as always in white pants,shirt,shoes, and beret, and then a bright blue trench coat to draw the eye. He was rushing to the lake, scolding himself all the way. How dare he be late? it was rude. He cared about miles and this was no way to show that. Getting to their meeting place and finding a picnic, but miles nowhere to be seen, danni sat down and sighed in relief. His panic now lessened, yet still there. where was miles? his clothes were there

Miles couldn't hold his breath anything longer and quickly surfaced, as he looked around admiring the view he saw Dani over at the spot, Miles quickly jumped out of the water and jogged over to him

Miles smiled at him "Hey beautiful, so did ya miss me?" Miles then leaned over where his clothes were to grab a towel to dry himself he knew Dani wouldn't appreciate his fine clothes having water dripped all on them

Daniel, still panting from his frantix run, managed a small smile. He couldnt talk quite yet so he nodded in response to miles' question. He fiddled with a thread on his coat thoughtfully. the faint smile remained on his face. a lot had happened since summer had started and it really threw the young man for a loop.

Miles wondered why Dani only nodded, it defiantely wasn't like him to be shy he seemed almost distracted by something, Miles then placed his hand on top of his

"Thats good, cause I really missed you" Miles said with a smile, he was begining to wonder if Daniel was having second thoughts about this new relationship

Fuinally regaining his lost breath daniel smiled, so as not to worry the boy. It was hard to speak after running there full force. He placed a hand lightly on miles' shoulder and grinned broadly

"i missed you too. this is really quite fantastic. You went all out, and you didnt have to do that. i love it."

Miles was glad when Daniel spoke, he had his old spark back again, he then slightly blushed when Dani comment on the pinic

"Oh it wasn't that much effort" Miles then reached into the picnic basket and pulled out two pumpkin pastys, he handed one to Dani, "So how have you been?"

Daniel took the treat with a smile and took a small bite of it and turned it over in his hands, freazing at miles' questionhe felt himself shiver slightly.

"i've been...okay" he managed to mutter "what about you?"

Miles knew defiantely by Dani'e response that something was bothering him, Miles figured perhaps it was one of those things which was better left alone

"Just okay huh?, so what really the matter" Miles asked he couldn't help himself he hated seeing others being down, espcially when they normally had such a bright spark about them

Daniel sighed, he didn't want to bring miles down. He continues to roll the pasty around in his hand for a while, thinking of his response carefully before speaking again. He adored miles and wanted him to be happy.

"just some troubles at home" it was sort of true, though he neglected to mention that he lived with karma, his ex, and two other people.

Miles bite the bottom of his lip, he never knew what to say in situations like these, so he just leaned over and hugged Dani

"Awwh im sure things will get much better" Miles said assuming that was what you were suppose to say
