Quil wasn't entirely sure what he was doing - but then again, when was the boy ever?

He didn't like plans. He merely liked chaos.

And what better way to create Chaos then by grabbing all the potion ingreedents you can find in the house - which with Turrow's house was many - and carting them out to random feild - hey at least he wasn't indangering the building? - and throwing them into a cauldron to see what happens.

He was proud of himself for even making it seem somewhat like an actual potion.

Sure he didn't have ingredents but he didn't just dump them all in at once. He chopped, and stired.

He felt that any true potion masture would be proud of him.

"Now lets put in some," the young boy muttered to himself as he let his had slide calculatingly over what he had next. He picked up something he didn't even recognize, "Whatever this thing is."

Grinning he flicked it into his cauldron, a grin on his face as he leaned forward to see what would happen next -

Only to be flown back by a huge exploson, and the whole area was filled with a large billowing clouds of bright toxic yellow smoke.

Which the young boy inhailed, having caught the full brunt of the clouds - thus becoming the only one affected by their magic.

"This," the boy coughed from the ground, his vision going blurry as the clouds seemd to surround him, hid him from veiw, even as the disappated everywhere else, "Could be intersting."

Eli was out for a walk. He didn't really 'walk' very often. The man always thought it was sort of pointless, but right now, he needed to clear his head. He couldn't afford to break down like that, not again. He had to drive out the insanity.

Of course, he didn't have much confidence in his ability to. He knew that he would always be expecting Kallie at the door or around the corner, and every time she wasn't, he got hurt all over again.

Eli was about to turn around and go back home when a loud noise caught him off guard. It sounded almost like... an explosion.

Auror instincts kicking in, he ran towards the source of the noise. It took him awhile to find it, but another sound closely resembling coughing brought him to a boy lying not to far from a badly charred cauldron.

"Merlin's beard..." he walked over towards the boy and knelt over him, trying to see if he was hurt, "I don't know what you were thinking, but whatever it was, you must be pretty crazy."

He had muttered it mostly to himself, and Eli didn't expect a response, as he seemed to be unconscious. Looking around, the man found that the grass was coated in some sort of yellow dust that smelled terrible. He returned his attention to the boy and noticed his clothing had the same yellow dust on it, "What were you thinking?"

Aquila blinked groggily up at the man, catching the last of his first statement and an impish grin crossed his face, "Why thank you. I find truely crazy is hard to reach, but I try."

Groaning slgihtly he pushed himself up, moving random limbs slowly, checking for injuries, as he was use to doing so.

"I wasn't thinking, don't you know," he flashed the man another grin, "Its sort of my thing, not thinking."

He ran a hand through the dust, frowning slight at it, "So, what do you think the chances of this stuff being posionous are?"

Eli took out his wand with a small chuckle at the boy, "Don't look too happy. People might start to think you were trying to kill yourself." He took a step back, looking at the large circle of dust around them, and muttered, "Tergeo." The dust dispersed off of the boy and into the ground.

Eli followed his gaze to the dust, and plucked a piece of dusty grass from the ground. He could already see it turning an odd shade of greyish-purple, "Well, it's poisonous enough that we should both get out of here."

He looked at the boy, then at the horizons of the field, "You're parents aren't around here are they?"

"I wasn't trying to do anything but cure my boredom," he responded with a grin as he watched the dust float away, "Dying just might have been an occasional hazard. Though honestly... never thought this one would have gotten so close to it."

Aquila sprung up from the ground, bending his knees slightly and rolling his shoulders. Everything seemed to be fine.

"Nope," he said easily, "They think I'm off being a good little pureblood doing one thing or another."

His grin was cut off by a sudden cough, which once started the boy couldn't seem to stop. It was well over a minute before he caught his breath again.

"Hmm... that's a new one," he gasped once he had a slight amount of air.

Eli watched with a smirk, "I guess no one can say you're not inquisitive."

The man frowned, "Oh.. well... That leaves us with a bit of a problem." He crossed his arms, "I'm not about to leave you on your own. Just in case you up and collapse again."

"Or do that," he said as he watched the boy go into a coughing fit. He materialized a glass of water with his wand and handed it to him once it was over.

"My name's Eli, by the way," he said with a smile, "Eli Patterson. Auror at the Ministry of Magic."

Aquila took the water with a sheepish grin, drinking it quickly in one gulp.

"Oh, I'll be fine," he stated, his voice taking on a slightly raspy quiality that seemed to indicated otherwise, "Just... direct me towards a city and I suppose someone else will come along. I mean you did, didn't you?"

He let out his usual laugh which fell into another cough.

"All right..." Eli said, still not entirely sure if it was safe to just leave the kid here. He shook his head, "I guess the nearest city would be London, but that's sort of a long way away..." The man looked around them, trying to determine just how far this field went, "We're definitely not anywhere near London."

He frowned as the boy coughed again, "You know, I'm starting to trust that dust stuff less and less. Are you sure you don't need to get some real help?"

"London's," Quil flailed his hand as he coughed again. His throat was starting to sting oddly. "That away... somewhere. I just-" another cough, "Followed a random Portkey, I found."

"Help? What is this thing called help?" he joked with a slight smile, which despite his best attempt turned into a frown, "Are my lungs supposed to feel like they're on fire?"

Eli's gaze followed the general direction of where Aquila was gesturing, scanning the horizon for anything that looked remotely like a building. His eyes slid to the boy, "Just a random Portkey... No thought about how you would get back?"

He wanted to laugh at this kid, but that was kind of hard to do with how sick he was starting to look.

His brows knit together, and he rushed over to him, "Right. I'm taking you to a hospital." He held out his hand for the boy to take, "Do you think you can stand side-along apparation?"

"I would have gotten back some how," he said with a shrug, completely unconcern with that thought, as he had been at the time of taking the portkey. "Walked... found another Portkey. Someone would have found me."

He tried to laugh again, but once more it fell into a cough. Honestly he was getting more annoyed then concerned. This was just putting a crink in his life.

"If I can't," he stated easily, taking the hand, not thinking about it at all, "Then I'll have shamed myself."

"Okay," Eli said, unable to believe the guts on this kid, "Let's go."

"Hopefully you won't die on the way over..." he added silently, closing his eyes and visualizing the waiting room in St. Mungo's. God knows he'd been there enough times to remember every detail, not that it was necessary.

With a loud "POP" Eli disappeared, and when he materialized, the first thing he noticed was the familiar impeccably-clean smell of everyone's favorite wizarding hospital. He looked to his side, hoping that he wouldn't find a half-alive fourth year lying on the floor.

"Am I still alive?" Quil asked, his voice amused though starting to get slightly hoarse, as he blinked around at his surroundings. The room was quite familare to the boy. In fact, he was rather at home in the whole place.

Opening his mouth to speak agian, to tell the man that he knew his way from there, or to thank him for taking him there, but the words never came out.

"Oh no," a loud, exasperated voice came from a pretty young redheaded healer. Her gaze locking on the boy, and eyes narrowing, "what did you do to yourself this time?"

Quil just gave an impish grin, "Its wonderful to see you too Marjarie."

"Looks like it," Eli said as he looked around the room for a nurse. Problem was, most of them seemed to be intently avoiding his gaze.

His eyes locked on the healer and he walked up to her, "You know this kid?" He asked, gesturing to Aquila, "He had an accident with a potion. I found him lying in the middle of a field covered in some sort of yellow dust."

The woman scoffed, shakinge her head at the man, "Do I know him?! Are you responsible for him? I've been waiting to find the person responsible for him for ages. Month after month, someone drags his sorry behind in here, in one trouble or another. And I never see anyone. Anyone at all - occationally that brother of his, barely older than him, comes rushing in in a panic. But no parent, adult of any kind."

She clucked her tongue, and rolled her eyes.

"Yellow dust?" her eyes narrowed, and she looked at the boy. "And just where did this yellow dust come from?"

Quil flashed her a cheeky grin, "There might have been a potion or two in there."

Marjarie pinched the bridge of her nose and shook her head.

"Of course. And just what does this dust seem to be doing? DO you even remember what was put into that potion."

Quil's cheeky grin this time was interupted by another coughing fit.

Eli held his hands up defensively, "Definitely not! I hardly know who he is! No- Actually I don't know who he is..." He turned to the boy with a frown, "Who are you?" Looking back at the nurse, he shrugged, "He tells me he has parents, so I'm not too worried."

The man watched the two talk as he waited for an opportunity to chime in. Finally, he gestured towards the door, "Soo... If I'm not needed anymore... I'm gonna go."

"Aquila Turrow," the boy grinned easily, as the Margret just continued to glare, "I do have parents... they're just lazy. What can I say? They're not getting awards any time soon - nothing new."

The boy waved at the man, "Thanks for the help! You're not so bad. I'm sure I would have made it here eventually."

He let out a laugh which was ended in a yelp as Margret grabbed his ear and dragged him off towards an acutally room.

"All right then, Aquila Turrow. Do me a favor and don't die, 'kay? You're a pretty good kid, and that would suck." He gave him a smile, "I'll be seeing you."

Eli grinned as he watched the boy being pulled out of the room. He waved at him, and waited until he was out of sight before chuckling and stepping out of the hospital.
