Dark readings

Arsen made his way back to the common room after a long day of lessons. He sat down in one of the seats by the fire so he had a good view of the entrance then pulled out his dark arts book which was disguised as a potions book and began to read.

Bel found her way down to the Slytherin common room, by following a one of the students from that house others, once they muttered something and walked away, noticing that the wall was still open she quickly entered their common room, to do the dare that she had been given.

Upon looking around she noticed that Arsen was the only one in there and he was reading.

Gathering her courage and took a deep breath, before she started her dare thanking her father for putting her through singing classes.

Briony looked up from her desk, a low moaning had begun to sound through her office and she raised her eyebrow, this meant there was a non Slytherin in the common room. Quickly she got up from her desk, still not feeling 100% and moved into the main common room it was then that she saw her, Belinda Green singing some annoying peppy song in her common room annoying Arsen.

She marched up to her tapped her on the shoulder and glowered at her. She was not in the mood for annoying children today...not AT all. Briony looked at Belinda with eyes like fire, she didn't know how she had gotten in there but she had and now she was going to have to pay for her mistake.

"Miss Green. You are a Gryffindor. This is the Slytherin Common room...what are you doing here? Aggravating my ears with this annoying song? 15 points from Gryffindor for you entering here when you know full well you aren't supposed to. Now leave."

Briony stood her ground, arms crossed and watched the girl until she left.

"It was a dare, and what an annoying song it was too." she replied when asked what she was doing in the Slytherin common room.


"Just so you know i don't know the password. i followed a slytherin down once they had the wall open they muttered something and walked off not checking that it was closed," she said before looking towards Arsen with an aploygetic smile and leaving.

Briony glared after the girl, how dare she have such lip with her?! She growled after she had left the common room and as she heard the door close Briony entered her pissed off mode and punched the hard stone wall before she sat down on the chair opposite Arsen, her head in her hands trying to calm down.

"That girl! Such cheek I never knew..."

The more she thought about it the more she wanted to bring that girl back and crucio her until she begged for forgiveness and offered a proper apology in fact, she realised she hadn't offered one at all. In her rage she placed an evil smirk on her face and muttered;

"Oh, and take another 10 points from Gryffindor for your cheek Miss Green. I will not have a student talking to me like that."

Even though she was gone, she could see the points drain out of the hourglass as she spoke and boy did it feel good.

Arsen watched as Bel came into the common room singing. He stared on in annoyance, they were meant to be keeping a low profile and this wasn't what he'd call low. He was about to say something when Professor Blake marched in and ordered her out. Deciding to not mention anything now he scheduled in his mind to talk with her later.

He couldn't help but smile as she took more points away, no matter which side she was on he would always want Slytherin to win.

Briony smiled a little and turned to Arsen with a pained look on her face she didn't know how the boy could stand to be in the girls presence without being annoyed, she as a teacher found it hard and she was being professional. She reclined on the chair a little and undid her top button again, cursing herself for not being better, but no way would she tell Hades that he'd make her have the day off.

"Sorry about that Arsen. No doubt it was as annoying to you as me."

Looking at the book held in his hand she placed a quizzical look upon her face, she wondered what it was about and she could assume it would be something to do with the Dark Arts.
