FALL 2014

Lena hopped around on the floor, absolutely ecstatic for another playdate. She couldn't wait for Charles to come over, and then they'd play solider and battle together again. She loved those games. One time, Charles dipped them in mud and Lena had pretended they drowned in it. Those were good times.

Charles knocked on the door, hoping that Lena would hear him. He was so damn excited for another playdate with his best friend. He loved them because they allowed him to get out of his house.

"Lena!" he called. "It's me!"

Lena grinned like an idiot whens she heard a familiar voice through the door. She immediately ran from the living room and hopped towards the door. She had to tiptoe to reach the doorknob, but after a little bit of effort she managed to open it. As soon as she saw her friend she immediately leaped up to hug him. "Charlie!" she grinned. "I miss you!"
