Aaliyah was leaning against a lonely grave stone sobbing. For the first time since she was turned, she actually cried out loud, knowing she probably wouldn't be seen, but not giving a damn even if she was. She had promised herself she would not let any of her descendants die at the hands of someone else, but she had failed. A young girl, of ten years of age had died, by the hands of some idiotic teenagers. It wasn't fair. Maria Wood. The small girl, innocent and sweet, could have been saved, if only she had done something about it. Now it was too late.

Evangeline had finally gathered up enough courage to visit the grave. It had taken her a lot seeing as it was the first time she had gone outside since it had happened. To Evie's surprise there was already a woman there, and not one she recognised. "Who are you?" she asked, dropping the white roses that she had in her hands.

Aaliyah jumped, not realising that the girl was there. She looked towards the roses on the floor and realised this girl must have been close to Maria. "I am a long lost relative, her auntie or something like that." she lied, but in a way she was kinda right. She was just her great great great great something or other.

Evangeline raised her eyebrows, deciding to be suspicious about this girl. The only aunties who Evie knew about were Adriana and Sapphire, and they had never mentioned having a sibling. Evie decided to go along with it and see if she was really telling the truth. "So you know Maria's sister then? Evangeline?" she asked deciding it was the best question to ask in the circumstances.
