Alec grinned as he walked towards Mythology. First day had been good so far.

But that's just how first days always were: everyone back from summer, chatting excitedly about what they'd done, promising the teachers they'd actually pay attention in class, professors introducing themselves and not too much homework. . .

He loved first days. Alec took his usual seat near the back as he walked in the classroom, waiting for the others to arrive.

Roxana walked into the classroom. She was a little unsure about what she was going to do. She was new and didn't know anyone. Reaching up she grabbed her necklace and started fiddling with it. She looked around and spotted a boy sitting down.

Roxana moved closer then she jumped as Mana jumped on her shoulder. Reaching up and scratching Mana behind her ears she laughed a little "You scared me little Mana"

She looked at the boy and smiled a little, "Is this seat taken?"

Alec turned when a girl's voice came up behind him. "No, it's empty. . . for now," he smirked and gestured for her to sit.

"I'm Alec, Alec Blanchard," he introduced himself, grabbing her hand and kissing it softly, "And you, ma chérie, would be. . .?"

Roxana nodded and moved to sit down when he grabbed her hand. Tilting her head to the side she blushed as he kissed it. "Roxana Luna, Nice to meet you Mr Blanchard."

Roxana pulled her hand back and sat down. "What is this school like?"

Alec laughed a bit when she called him Mr. Blanchard, "No need for Mr., I'm just a fourth year."

He shrugged when she sat down, "It's the same as any other school, I guess. Except it's. . magical."

"Only two of you here," Pierre said as he came into the room, his strides face-paced as he moved to the front of the room. "Good, we won't have anyone wasting our time," he stated before taking a seat behind his desk. "Today's topic is the Iliad. Who wrote it?" he asked his students, his tone bordering on demanding.

Roxana looked away from Alec when the professor walked in. She straightened up and bit her lip thinking about the book. Back home, in Antarticia she often read classic Muggle books when she wasn't helping her father.

Roxana scratched Mana behind her ears and grinned a little. "it was Homer. He wrote the book along with the Odyssey in acient Greece." She was sure about her answer. She probably had the book in her room.
