Cruel Addiction (Open)

Amelia had just finsihed interviewing Officer Ryker about a wanted dark wizard, and before she made her way back the Ministry she decided she would pop into Ivanovich's just for a browse she didn't have any intentions of buying anything, she felt that when you reached 22 you were just abit to told to be buying sweets

Amelia entered and was hit with a wall of sweet smells, she drifted over to some Blueberry Acid drops. She picked up the pack and examined them, these were her favorite she loved them so much, she bite her bottom lip trying not to convince herself not to buy them, but it wasn't working the urge to buy them was so strong [/i]No, come on be good Amelia be good[i] she thought to herself

Rose walked into the sweet shop smiling as her nose was assaulted by various scents. She quickly walked towards where the Sugar Quills were. She picked one up and observed it. She knew some Sugar Quills were much sweeter than others.

She grinned as she finally found 3 Sugar Quills with some pink patches on the underside. She walked to the counter to pay for it. After she had done that, she stayed there nibbling on the tip. She noticed a grown woman probably 22. She noticed she was thinking over something and grins as she guessed what was the problem was.

She walked over to her and peeked at her face "You know Grown ups need sweets too ya know."

Amelia gave a gasp as a girl approached her, the girl told her that grown ups need sweets as well. Amelia then gave a little chuckle " Oh... im not sure about that, not only do we look a bit foolish it also makes us gain some weight"

Amelia then looked the girls sugar quil, it certainly looked good as well, she then noticed she had two others in her hand " I can see you've definately had your sugar for the day" she said gesturing to the other sugar quils

Rose grins as the lady pointed to her other sugar quills. She smiled as her hair turned bubble gum pink her favorite color. "Yup I guess so" Rose says but then with a grin she adds "But! I'll be back. These won't last long at all."

Rose then tilts her head as she nibbles on her sugar quill in thought then opens her mouth to say something "Grown ups who eat sweets don't look foolish ya know." She says then grins "Grown ups that don't eat sweets have forgotten what it's like when they were a child." She laughs then "And Sweets won't make you gain weight unless you eat a barrel of them." After that been said, she slyly points to the Blueberry Acid Pops, grinning teasingly. "And it looks like you have a favorite. Just as i have mine"

And with that, she starts nibbling on her 2nd sugar quill her first now gone.

Amelia smirked as the girls hair turned pink, she then nodded at the girl justifying why grown ups should eat sweets Amelia then glanced down at the acid drops and looked back at the girl and smiled

" You know you make a rather convincing case" Amelia then smacked her lips together, " Alright... I'll get them" Amelia then walked over to the counter and as she was pulling out the money to pay she looked back at the girl " If I gain weight and get laughed at, I know who to blame" she said with a joking smile

Rose laughs as she heard what she said then tilts her head at her grinning as her hair goes back to being black. "I'm very convincing when i want to be" she says giggling. She then pouts playfully and sticks out her tongue "Nuh uh! You won't get teased" she said.

She starts nibbling on her sugar quill but quickly finds it gone. She shrugs and starts nibbling on her last one. She smiled momentarily at the lady. "You're from the ministry If you gain weight you'll lose it when you work." She says.

Amelia finished paying for the acid drops then opened the packet and put one into her mouth, she flinched at how sour they were she loved that intial burst of sour, she laughed at the girls statment that if she gained weight she would just be able to loose it while she was working

" Ah well thats the thing, while we are out on the beat catching dark wizards, most of the time is spent in our offices writing up reports and lodging files" Amelia liked how energetic and outgoing this girl was, it made Amelia feel like she was back at school being young and careless

Amelia then walked closer to the girl and stuck out her hand " Im Amelia by the way" she said

Rose tilted her head at the hand then grinned and shook it. "I'm Rose Ann nice to meet you Amelia." She retracts her hand then grins "What do you work as then? It must get boring when you're just writing reports and whatnots." She says quickly then stops to catch her breath.

She laughs realizing how excited she was talking. She shakes her head and blushes "Sorry, I don't meet new people often" she says, a hint of sadness in her voice.

Amelia smiled back at Rose, she admired that name it sounded so sweet and innocent " Well Im the Head Auror, so I do occasionally go on missions but mainly im doing investigations and assigning jobs to the Aurors, and yes it can get quite boring sometimes" she said with a bit of a laugh

Rose said that she didn't meet new people often, Amelia sensed a tone of saddness in her voice " Oh whys that, surely you don't know everybody at school" Amelia said with abit of a grin

Rose smiles a bit. "So when you're bored what do you do?" she says curiously. She then frowned as her hair turned a soft blue.

She shook her head absent-mindingly playing with the hem of her shirt. "Actually I haven't met anyone besides you. You see i'm new." She says and adds "Durmstrang's students can be a little intimidating you, see." She says.

A smirk appeared across Amelia's face as she watched Rose's hair turn a soft blue colour, Rose asked what Amelia did she did when she got bored at work, Amelia found Rose's childish view of the world adorable and amusing "Well... theres not alot I can do, I just have to push on with the work, or else the Aurors wouldn't exist"

Amelia nodded her head at the girls comment about Durmstrang students being intimidating " Espically those in Hitrost I found, say what house are you in" Amelia asked

Rose smiles as she hears her words. "You must be very important indeed." She says.

She stood proudly then "I'm from Uchitel" she declared proudly. She tilted her head and smiled "Were you from Durmstrang too?"She asked this time her hair changed to the same color as Amelia's.

A smile of glee appeared on Amelia's face when she heard Rose from Uchitel, " Yes I went to Durmstrang, Im born and breed right here in Russia, its nice to hear your from Uchitel, that was my old house actually"

Amelia's mind then drifted back to her school days, she then snapped back into reality and looked Rose " So tell is Professor Belby still teaching potions" she asked, she never did like him he was so officious and cold to everybody

She smiled sadly and blushed as Amelia asked that question "To tell you the truth, I'm still new.. I'm starting my year next next term" she said with a pout.

Rose shrugged "When i came here to Durmstrang i was late to apply for classes."She said. Humming in thought Rose smiled "This term I'm just going to acquaint myself to Russia." Rose tilted her head and blinked as her eyes turned brown. Rose chuckled as she now looked like a mini-Amelia.

Amelia nodded as Rose explained that she was late to sign up to classes and decided she would spend this term getting use to Russia " Ah well thats certainly an excellent idea, I mean it would just be so hard trying to keep up"

Amelia looked at Rose and noticed this time when her hair changed it resembled her own, Amelia couldn't believe how much Rose looked like her, it was like staring back at her teenage self, Amelia then popped another acid drop into her mouth, she then held out the packet to Rose

" Can I tempt you?" she asked

Rose tilted her head and carefully extracted one acid pop from the packet "Thank you" she said looking at Amelia. Rose studied it carefully before popping it into her mouth she had never eaten and acid pop before honestly she was too obsessed with her sugar quills.

Rose eyes widen then scrunched up her nose at the burst of sourness, she even let out a mouse like squee. "Sorry not used to sour things" she said as she laughed.

Amelia let out a laugh to Rose's reaction to the acid pop, " Oh thats quite alright, they are something you do need to get use to" Amelia said. She then smiled and looked over at some eatable white chocolate dragons, she remembered having these when she was on the ship to school at the start of each year

She then walked over to them and picked one up it hissed and roared at her, " Hey do they still sell these on the Durmstrang ship?" Amelia asked looking at Rose

Rose's eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she walked over to where Amelia was. Her confused expression turned into joy however as she saw the chocolate dragons. She quickly grabbed one and smiled at it. She looked at Amelia and nodded cheerfully "Yes they do they're very fun" she said grinning as it hissed at her "I mostly bought them for entertainment though" she said giggling "But they are SO sweet!" she said emphasizing the word so. Rose then blinked as the dragon roared at her. She giggled and poked her tongue at it.
