Afonka, you probably don't know us very well. But, we are your father, Rodion's parents, even if we feel like he's more or less neglected to tell you very much about your own family history. But never mind that: it's never too late to learn about your own roots.
You see, our family, the Alkaev side of it, has had, well, goals. And, as people with goals often do, we found people to help us achieve these goals. They are not our friends, not by a long stretch, but they help us, and therefore we are eternally grateful.
We assume, as we should, that you've heard of the organization by now. They go by many names, but the one you should be most familiar with is most likely the mafia. And you now know, our family has a history with them. Just because your parents ran away to Reznov doesn't mean that they're not family. Which by extension, makes both you and Deina family.
The mafia needs the Alkaevs again, Afonka. We're too old now. And you're young, around the same age we were when we joined. So, it's high time you join. And just in case you think you ignore us, we know exactly where your family is. You can't run away from us. Not if you treasure the lives of your family.
