Lynx watched as Vincent rush over towards a girl heading there way, he assumed she must have been a friend of his, then suddenly he heard a loud screech he looked up and noticed an unfamilar owl circling around him, it then dropped a letter down towards Lynx and flapped off

Lynx picked up the letter and noticed it was from the Ministry, he quickly opened it;

Dear Mr Lynx Miller
I am writing to inform you your application to be the Improper Use of Magic Admin has been successful, please come to the Ministry at your earliest convience so that we can initate into the Ministry and inform you of your duties. This position is effectely immediately

A smiled appeared on Lynx's face he couldn't believe it, he had actually manged to get a proper job, he then pointed his wand at his broom "Accio" he said swiftly the broom then flew towards him, he grasped it in his right hand he then jumped on the broom and hovered about 10 feet in the air, he then looked over towards Vincent and his friend

"Hey Vincent I gotta go, catch you later... oh and don't use any more magic outside of school" Lynx said sternly he didn't want to send this boy to court he seemed like a good kid he then took off into the sky

Rose eyes widened as the boy bounded up to her, honestly she thought she would just be ignored, imagine her surprise when the boy kissed her hand and introduced himself. Rose blushed "I'm Rose Ann Lucinda Second Year Uchitel" she said nervously and fluently in English.

Rose smiled as he offered to escort her to his friend. A gentleman she thought. Rose tilted her head at him and grinned "Lead the way good sir." she said but frowned as she saw his friend fly away. "Oops Looks like he gone" she said chuckling. Rose glanced at him "What now?"she asked.

He frowned up at Lynx, why was he leaving? how rude he waved goodbye and accepted his advice. He turned to the girl continuing to lead her to the water he said "I guess now that we are alone, I guess we have no choice but to" he paused for a deliberate moment hoping a flood of words entered her mind he then added in a joking tone "talk" he laughed and cleared an area for her to sit and place her basket, he sat down and looked deep into Roses eyes, "it is a pleasure to meet you Rose... such a beautiful name for a girl of the same nature" he smiled at her his perfect teeth shining up at her.

Rose chuckled at his joking manner. She smiled and carefully sat down making sure to not get her light blue summer dress get dirty. She looked up at him and was surprised to see him staring at her. She tilted her head as she gazed into his eyes then blushed at his comment, quickly looking away. "T-thank you for the compliment" she said a bit nervously "But... Never judge a person only by the way she looks" Rose added smirking.

He grinned back saying calmly "Oh but I never do" he winked at her continuing "I prefer to get to know people before anything... but I always like to compliment the outside before delving inside" he threw a rock at the water it skipped three times and sunk with a plop.

He looked back into her eyes and began almost like an example "Tell me about yourself" he smiled cos he had let her in on his secret.

Rose nodded as she listened "Good Tactic" she said referring his way to meeting people. She watched as the stone plopped, chuckling at the noise. She reached over to her almost forgotten basket and pulled out a chocolate dragon, giggling as it hissed at her.

Rose diverted her attention back to Vincent as she heard him ask her a question. She tilted her head and smiled. "Well.." she said not sure where to begin then sighed starting with the basic facts "My name is Rose Ann Lucinda, I'm 13 years old, My whole family is dead, I go to Durmstrang, I'm an orphan, I-" she chanted almost in a reassuring way, in fact she did this every time she had a break down or felt sad, when things seem not the way they're used to be she had done this, She shook her head and continued "I like to read books and eat sweets" she finished lamely. She was going to say something else but decided not to.

His automatic reactions of reassurance kicked in, he placed his arm around her shoulders and hummed "I'm so sorry, I would never know how that feels" he was taken off guard and the full brunt of her comment had really hit home.

He tried to take his mind off his overflowing compassion, he stared at the dragon and laughed, another perfect opportunity, he thought to himself. He stood and offered Rose his hand in a very gentlemanly way asking "Do you trust me?" he looked deep into her eyes once again.

Rose smiled a bit as he placed his arm around her. "Ya shouldn't be sorry ya know" she said and chuckled "Ya barely know me" she added.

Rose looked at Vincent a bit uncertainly "What are you trying to do?" she asked. She shook her head and chuckled a bit at how she was acting and looked at him, clear mirth in her eyes as she took his hand. "Fine I do trust you" she said smiling, her former sadness now forgotten.

He swung her under his arm in a ballroom like dance twirl, as she spun gracefully he pulled his wand out of his other pocket and aimed at her saying quietly "Aquamoveo" she glowed blue and faded, he stopped her and placed his hands firmly on her hips. With a strong lift he picked her up and he skidded onto the water her body still suspended above his head.

He smiled and laughed as he slid to a stop on the surface of the Enchanted Lake, he gently put her down and grinned at her saying "Pretty cool huh?" he skated around her like it were ice and stopped in front of her again. It had taken him years to learn how to do it, so he was showing off.

Rose was surprised when he had made her twirl, she chuckled but then felt a spell hit her. She saw the blue glow for a fraction of a second before it disappeared. She frowned wondering what it was but that thought quickly went away when he had suddenly lift her and skidded to the water. She made an odd squeak sound but found that he was on the water. How Strange she thought.

When he had gently put her back on the ground, she tried very hard not to slip - which was proving a bit difficult as she was in a dress- I knew i should've worn pants she thought to herself. She looked at Vincent as she finally balanced herself he was skating around her. She shook her head and let out a laugh "Very Cool" she said then looked at him pointedly "But you could have told me first" she said.

He laughed and said "What fun would that have been?" he walked toward her the water acting like the ground. He should have planned ahead, he didn't know what to do from this point on, Vincent smiled and said "Anything else you'd like to share?"

Rose shook her head and tried to cover up her grin. She tilted her head "Nope Nada" she said when he asked if she had anything else to share. She noticed that she didn't even know him.. well except his name that is. "Now mister Furtell" she said teasingly "Tell me about yourself" she said deciding to turn the tables on him.

"O, ho ho" he raised and eyebrow and laughed, she was interesting he started skating again, a steady and slow pushing of his feet, impossible for anyone but him. He began as he was directly behind her "Well, As you know I am Vincent, I am a First Year Ravenclaw and I am from Italy" he hid a smile and looked serious as he stopped in front of her thinking, let's see how far she'll go to get more out of me he held back a chuckle and looked at Rose.

Lynx returned to the Enchanted Lake, this time in his Animagus form of a Ferret. He saw Vincent continuing to use magic, it appeared as though he was showing off, Lynx then rushed through the grass and was at the edge of the bank. He's eyes narrowed upon Vincent as he was flaunting his powers

Lynx then morphed back into his human form and stood at the bank with a rather stern look on his face, he pulled out his wand flicked at Vincent "Densaugeo" the bolt of light hit Vincent causing his teeth to grow at an alarming rate. Lynx was no longer mucking around he was here on Ministry Business, Lynx noticed the girl was still there, I guess she's partly responsible for allowing this underage magic Lynx thought to himself, he then flicked his wand at her transfiguring her into a toad

Lynx then called out to Vincent " Vincent I suggest you should come over please, and bring your friend with you" he said, Lynx knew the spell's weren't the normal way of handling this but felt this way he'd get there attention

Rose smiled at him and was going to reply but her reply turned to a gasp as she saw Vincent's teeth starting to grow. She looked around and gulped when she saw the man from before. Why'd he do that? she thought with a frown. Her eyes widened when a spell was going right at her. She croaked in dismay when she got turned into a toad. She looked at Vincent then started hopping towards the man, hoping Vincent will follow.

He heard a familiar voice, but before he could turn his teeth grew, it almost hurt but he nonetheless, turned and walked sluggishly toward Lynx. He scooped up Rose in her toad form, unfazed by the change he would still treat her like a woman. He put her down next to him on the shore and stared expressionlessly at Lynx.

"What the hell!" He hissed through his huge teeth, "we were doing no harm" he tried to say, forcing his jaw muscles to heave his huge teeth the way he wanted. He kept staring and sighed saying "Before, you start can you at least shrink my teeth?" it sounded weird and like he had a lisp but the message got through.

They weren't doing anything bad

Lynx glared at Vincent, he had a definate attitude Lynx did not see kindly upon this. He flicked his wand at Vincent and the girl returning them to their normal selves

"Well Mr Furtell what you were doing was illegal, or have you forgetten that wizards and witches under the age of 17 are strictly forbidden to use magic outside of school" Lynx then shot a look overtowards the girl "And I suppose you suffer from amnesia like your friend here" Lynx said cuttingly

He then looked at the two with complete disgust, " Perhaps a few lines with a blood quil might make the message sink in" Lynx then let out a sigh "however this choice is not soley placed with me" he then placed both his arms out at the children

"We shall aparate back to the Ministry, where you shall meet with the Deputy Minister" Lynx said sternly

Rose flinched when the man shot her a look. She quickly looked down and gulped. "I'm so sorry sir" she said quietly. She gulped when she heard him say 'Blood Quill' but stayed quiet nonetheless. When the man placed his arm out she sighed and took it without hesitation. Might as well cooperate she thought sadly. She nodded when the man said they were going to the ministry then looked at Vincent hoping he'd just give in quietly.

He looked at Rose with apologetic eyes saying "I didn't mean to bring you into this Rose, sorry" he then placed his hand on Lynx's, he sighed and said to him "Let's just get this over with please.... not to be rude"

Rose smiled slightly at Vincent "It's okay you didn't mean to" she said then looked at the older man and coughed "I think it's time to go now Mister Miller" she said quietly and nervously. Best be done with this she thought
