New York ( Tessa and Afonka)

"Very good," He said, smiling at her as he rubbed his eyes.

She was still yawning. Tessa then leaned back. " I really hate the time zone."

"I do too." He sighed, leaning against her as he stifled a yawn. "But it'd be weird if everywhere in the world was in the same time zone."

Tessa started to close her eyes. "Yeah I know."

Yawning again, Afonka struggled to keep his eyes open, "But it's worth it, because we get to be in the city that never sleeps."

Tessa laughed as she snuggled closer to Afonka.

Smiling at her, Afonka put his arm around her, shifting closer to Tessa.

Tessa was finally asleep, but she loved when Afonka put his arms around her.

Grinning at Tessa as she fell asleep, Afonka moved closer to her, watching her sleep.

Tessa was smiling in her sleep. She was glad that she was able to have a nap.

Watching Tessa, he couldn't help but feel rather tired himself. Yawning, he put his head on her shoulder, and Afonka promptly fell asleep.

Tessa smiled as she snuggle closer to Afonka.

A Few Hours Laters

Opening his eyes, Afonka looked around blearily for a few moments, trying to gain his bearings. Rubbing his eyes as he remembered where he was, he smiled, looking over at Tessa.

Yawning, he covered his mouth, still rubbing his face as he grinned down at Tessa.

Tessa yawned when she started to wake up. She couldn't believe that she went to sleep.

Smiling at Tessa when she woke up, he waved at her, "Hey."

Tessa smiled a little bit. " Hey."

"That was nice," He said with a nod, yawning,

Tessa smiled. " Yeah it was."

"Naps are nice," Afonka decided, rubbing sleep from his eyes.

Tessa laughed. " Yeah naps are good."

"They let you recharge and they're just great." Afonka nodded, smiling as he stretched his arms.

Tessa smiled. " Yeah they are." She then noticed that her aunt walked through the door and was smiling.

" How about we take that trip to the pet store now?"

She smiled. " Sure, I really should have introduce you Afonka. This is my aunt Katherine. Aunt Katherine this is Afonka.

Katherine smiled. " It is nice to meet you Afonka."

"Hello Ms Katherine," Afonka said politely, waving at her, "I wanted to thank you for letting me stay here over the summer. It was really nice of you."

Nodding, he smiled at Tessa, "I'm ready when you are."

Her aunt was smiling. " Please just call me Katherine." She was still smiling. " It is a pleasure that you could spend the whole summer. I didn't think Tessa had many friends. But I am glad that you can spend time with us."

Tessa was smiling. " Let's get going, the traffic is horrible in New York City."

Her aunt lead them out to her car and watched everybody as they buckled up. It seemed like an hour later they reached the pet store. Her aunt was still smiling as they walked in. " I will let you two pick out the puppy that you want."

"Alright," Afonka nodded, "Katherine it is." Grinning, he followed them into her car, watching teh city pass by in amazement.

As they walked into the pet store, he was still grinning as he looked around, "Should we ask the owner what makes a good guide dog first?"
