Lesson Two || Sixth Year || Potion

Brew: Amorentia

Not really in the mood to brew a potion, Dylan took a glance at the board then went off to the cupboard for the ingredients. Taking everything he needed, Dylan noticed that he was the only one here. Good, the Slushatel wasn't really in the mood to talk to people.

Setting up his cauldron, Dylan set the fire at a low heat, and started chopping up his ingredients.

Not wanting to be late, Lora quickly got to the Potions classroom, glad that not everyone seemed to have shown up. She smiled lightly at Professor Kas and placed her bag at a table near the front. She read the name of the potion to be made, and took a few minutes to remember the ingredients she had gone through a few days back.

The Slushatel got her things from the cupboard and walked over to where her cauldron was. Placing it on a fire and having adjusted the heat, she began working on the ingredients, glancing once in a while at Dyl who seemed like he didn't want to be disturbed.

Glancing at his girl, Dylan gave her a soft smile. As much as he loved her, he needed to work alone for a bit. But he didn't want her feeling like he didn't want her.

Throwing some ingredients into the cauldron, Dylan thought of the possible locations of Kait. He knew right away that she wasn't in England- if she ran away.

Lora smiled back lightly before focussing her full attention on the potion, wanting to get it done as soon as possible. She wasn't even sure of what she was exactly doing, but since it was the first, she hoped Professor Kas wouldn't mind a few mistakes here and there.

She took the frozen Ashwinder egg and dropped into the hot cauldron. Not wanting to touch the rose thorns, she levitated them and added those as well. Next, she took a few leaves of peppermint plant and placed them into the mixture. Finally, she took some of the powdered moonstone and sprinkled some into the potion.

After stirring it for a while, she frowned a little, wondering if there was anything else to add.
